Remus Exhaust System-need your opinion

Haven't heard anyone talkin about having one of these so I figured I'd post it up.

Susposedly they are know for their exhaust sound. Mostly on european car. I want an exhaust but I don't. My accord is loud and i definately don't want that. Got a Magnaflow catback on it and it's louder than I'm looking for.

I know I saw somewhere on here about that 350z type sound and I know that this doesn't sound like it but it seems like a low grawl. Here's a link to some sound clips. The clips are from full exhausts...I found universal mufflers so they wouldn't be as loud as the clip...

What do you think about this on a 3.0??? How do you think it would sound. Need some opinions fellas

Much appreciated

remus is really expensive. I mean even there universal muffler is like $400. They are the best for Euro though. Dont know anyone that put it on an import though. how about tanabe? H20 has magnaflow on his, and he has a low growl. he is a 97, 3.0 too.

Had a fartcan muffler on my 4cyl accord then I replaced it cuz it was loud as hell. I went with a Magnaflow catback because i heard that Magnaflow were quiter...which it was. Sounded nice on the accord but it's too loud for my CL. Not going that route with it. Rather the stock sound than magnaflow(no offense to those who have them) just tryin to get a little growl when accelerating.

Found Remus mufflers for less than that...not much less but I'd rather spend the money and be happer with the sound rather than spend the same amount of money on a catback and have it be louder than I want. Did you check the clip?

i recommend GReddy SP2, i love mine, i just broke it in a few days ago and it sounds great with my intake. i was looking into Tanabe, Espelir, and Invidia, but i knew it was gonna be too loud so i went with Greddy and they also come with a warranty. thats only if you want a premium ass cat-back system as opposed to custom piping and a muffler, seens like you have money to spend seeing is that you want that Remus exhaust.

I'm not going to get any sort of catback.. i was told that the magnaflow for my accord was quiet and it's alot louder than I'm looking for. i also want the tips of the muffler to be as close to the stock ones as possible.

People have complained on this site about too oud magnaflows before also. I believe if you add a resonator on it quiets things down considerably.

My roomate has the Remus exhaust on his Audi TT.

that shit is fuckin' LOUD. I'm going to climb under his car one of these days and see what the hell is up w/ that. Hahah.

Resonators are huge when dealing with the noise and loudness of an exhaust
