Removed Badges....

I would love to do the same thing. Can you give me directions on how to do it. I don't want to be left with a scratched trunk or holes or some other stupid crap that i am fully capable of doing.

To remove the emblems, all you really have to do is to slowly pull it off with your hands. Then there will be some remaining pieces of the sticky tape thingy which can be easily rubbed off with you finger or a rubber eraser? And the "A"cura emblem in the center has two holes behind it.

The easiest way to remove the Acura and CL emblems is using dental floss, and then bug and tar remover to get rid of the rubber.
The center emblem comes off very easily, and then there are two white plastic plugs which the emblems sits in. I removed these plugs leaving two holes.
I then put molding tape inside the trunk to cover the holes and prevent water from leaking in.
I then used body-color matched paint to paint the molding tape from the outside.
Granted the holes are still there but I have prevented water from going in and the holes are not noticeable from afar.
Hope this helps...WORD!

I pulled the badging off and left the A. I just used the brute forge method after going to the car wash, then rubbed on some gunkoff, or adhesive desolver stuff. It looks great, the only problem is that the paint underneath the lettering is not faded at all. so it is a slightly different color red.
