I don't want to sound rude, but I have spent hours in forums trying to verify people's suggestions and none of them panned out, so I am looking for answers that are only linked to direct success. I have various links to either my laptop or my android for odb2, one of which is an elm327 chip. On my old Subaru I was able to find software that allowed me to read the proprietary Subaru codes with these readers. What I am hoping to find, but can't seem to, sorry if it's in here, I honestly looked. Is either and android app or a software download that will let me delete and read the abs codes on a 99 cl v6. I can't afford a direct reader that will do it, and most of the ones I have found recommended won't once you look up their specs. Same with torque, blue something and a lot of others apps I read can do it. We tried the auto parts stores and they can't or won't. I know I can use jumpers, but every procedure I have read had been different, so I am at a loss for exact information. Can anybody point me to something that they themselves have used to do this? Does it even exist? The cheaper the better.
