radio remote problem

radio remote problem
I am puttin in a new pioneer radio and i hooked every thing up correctly but radio wont turn on.. i tested power and remote wires.. from harness back to the radios harness..
there is no juice comin from the remote wire out of the factory harnes.. is there a fuse for this?
i am thinking about connecting hte radios remotoe wire to acc power source wire.. ..
does ne one have this problem? any hints.. suggestions.. asap!

The remote wire on our cars goes no where. It was originally for use with the power antena, but our cars have an integrated windsheild antena, so it shouldn't matter. Your problem is most likely an incompatible radio harness.

on the adapter harness the blue wire comming from the car is how you turn on the bose amp with the remote wire comming from the stereo.
