Radio Code Crisis

Hello All
My sister borrowed my 98 2.3 CL, she left the lights on and the battery died. She called her friend to give it a jump and of course the radio needed a code. Well, instead of her calling me she tried to figure it out herself and now the radio is locked (ERR-3). My question to you all is there anyway I can resest the radio so that I can enter the correct code with out disconnecting the battery?

disconnect the batter for like 10 minutes. should work. probably will work instantly but a good couple minutes with the battery unplugged is good for any car

Ok. Maybe I should change my question. How do I disconnect the battery? I ususally don't do stuff under the hood.

10 mm socket loosen one of the bolts on one of the 2 battery terminals, and remove it for 2 mins or so.
