where would the stereo code located on a 99 3.0 cl and how would i input it if the err-3 sign is coming up

 

side of glove box under fuse cover in manual on trunk lid err-3 reset battery again I mean disconnect for a while.

then input code again.

 

i have have no manual but ill check the others thanks

 

oh and if you cant find it gotta pull out radio which means taking out center arm rest and console and look on back of radio for the registration number call dealer n they will run the num for you... if they try to charge you tell trhem bullshit and speak with manager.

 

haha yeah i went to the dealer with a friend cause his car was in the shop and i asked them to do it and he said it would be 80 dollars and i just lauhged in his face cause i thought he was joking and he just looked at me like what is wrong with this kid lol

 

mine was on the ashtray...i almost gave up looking, then actually took the ashtray out, and it was on the underside good luck

 

well i took the ashtray out and i didnt see it on their so i was thinking abot getting a new deck instead of paying 80 dollars for my stock one but if i find the code ill just keep this one

 

same thing happened to me.. DON'T pay the dealer to pull the stereo out, that's BS. a set of numbers should be on the side of the glove box (or possibly on the inside of the fuse cover). give that number to the dealer and they'll do a search, and they should give you a 5-digit code or something.

 

you can take out your stock radio and on the back is the product number call acura dealer with that number... they should give you the code free.
