Hey guys I picked up a set of 18" c5s and was wondering what tires should I put on with this, that is the best fit, durable, and won't rub... I am thinking about dropping the car on sportlines and agx. hook me up with some suggestions.

 

225/40/18 no more than a 360 treadware (minor rubbing) With 35's your rubbing will be less, but it will cutdown on the ride.

 

that will be a nice combo


what did you pick up the rims for?

oh i also have 3 tires that came with them in good thread, at least around 75%.

But they are 215/35zr/18

I won't be needing them since I am getting a brand new set of four. So if anyone wants them local pick up in southern cali, pm me.

they aren't in mint condition though, I am gonna want to polish em up, im thinking about powdercoating them gunmetal and polishing the lip. any suggestions?

well let me see how much i can get them fixed for, i originally wanted 17s but since im just looking at them, i really want to put them on.

 

215 35 is is bad tire to have. def go with 225 40

 

C5's in gunmetal and polished lip look good. check my WWW

 

pebec;97, you should get your centercaps painted gunmetal too, it just looks a bit odd with them still silver IMO
