Questions!
I just recently purchased a 97 CL 3.0 with 55k miles on it and am throughly impressed with the overall performance of the car. It was literally owned by an old woman school teacher before me! I have a few questions that I havent been able to find the answers to on these boards.
What I want to know is where I can purchase the little interior door on the left of the steering wheel? One of the hinges is broken and I dont want to rig it up.
Where can I purchase a set of 98-99 bottom molding? Mine looks like vinyl but know that the newer models have painted bottom pieces that not only look better, but make the car "look" lower.
How difficult is it to change out the speakers in the doors, dash and in the back? I already have the speakers, headunit & proscessor that I got for a previous car but have not had time to re-wire my new car for the new sound system.
Thanks in advance!

you mean the coin holder? right below the moonroof button?
i also have a 97, you're better off just getting the black plastic painted over. a better decision would be to get the wings west front lip and side skirts. they look more agressive, but are not overboard.
i dont know about the door speakers, but the tweeters in the dash just pop out.

Welcome to the board!
The speakers in the door are best removed by taking off the entire door panel.
The tweeters in the dash and the speakers in the door are a rudimentary form of "component" speakers. They would both need changing if going to aftermarket speakers.
You should be able to use the existing wiring in yor CL. The only issue I see is if you need to by-pass the built in amp. Are you adding an aftermarket amp? If so, you will need to bypass the stock amp (which is pretty easy, and can be done using the existing wiring harness).
If you need any schematics, let me know.
You can by OEM parts (eg: coin-holder) here:

the proscessor is something that I've had for years now, its an Alpine 3342 11band sound field controler. It was like $1400 when it was first new but I'm sure that the newer style proscessors can do alot more for a ton less. They clean up the sound and give you complete control over all your speakers and will allow you to put in custom EQ settings......besides the fact that it looks cool!
