i have a pioneer headunit, but i just use the IP-BUS connection. I go through the CD changer option to allow me RCA inputs, then connect a Y AUX cable. Then i run that cable to a Belkin autokit (search autokit belkin on ebay) which will all u to plug in the aux cable and run it thorugh the belkin autokit, charging ur iPod and playing it through the bottom like a docking unit. works perfectly. it allows only volume to be controlled through headunit, but all the songs are done through the iPod itself. CDIB100-II is also an option which will do the ipod interface with the headunit. The way I do it lets u also do any aux unit, not just iPod. hopefully this helps and isn't just confusing!

It's through the IP-Bus cd changer input, needs power and ground from the hu. Works really well, I just installed one for ZeroCL and it works beautifully. I'm gettin myself one after I get my double din

Yeah, it works quite nicely too. It also charges the iPod so it never dies! Thats a plus, especially you people with iPods know what im talking about with battery life.

But uh yeah, i can post pics of what it basically is if you want? We need to re wire that all up but right now its in my glove box.

Not an install that I would exactly be proud to call my own...

I have a kenwood and want to get the one for kenwook, but I heard the display of the songs and crap is real slow. I dunno though.

BTW, whats up with your clock dude?

I like the pioneer iPod interface. I made a playlist specifically for my car and I put it on shuffle. Works pretty well, that way I dont have to search through artists for 20 years to find songs. And uh. My clock is fine, its not on in that pic. But if your talking about that blue light, thats my dome light reflecting off of it.

Ahhhh. Gotcha... Thought you tried doing the blue light mod and screwed it up and only 1 bar was on in the clock....

Yeah, cause people on here lied about running the wire from the new HU to the Amp, which didnt work so you had to by-pass the amp. And I have a juniors license still.

That was a temp install, I always do clean/stealth installs. Here's the finished install for ZeroCL, enjoy Ryan

That's the ONLY piece of power wire visable, I offered to put black loom on it, but he said it wasn't enough to even worry about

His Subbuzz JDM walmart woodgrain wheel, console under construction, running RCA's

Subs and amp all installed, no visable wires

His weak ass led's lighting up half the box

2 Kenwood 10's and 600 w amp, hits pretty good, he's happy with it, gave him a killer deal too. And free install once again

On to the IPod interface, Mitch you fawkin hater He had to throw his "Prada" fag sunglasses in the pic, no more box or wires

Finished product

How is the Pioneer one? The Kenwood one kind of sucks, in a sense. It acts more like a CD changer, so you can browse albums, you have to go album by album. So if I want to listen to my Unwritten Law, I have to go through the whole fawkin alphabet.

Yup, that'd be it. I like it a lot. Hows it holding up for you?

The iPod interface is awesome along with the fact that my iPod is always charged.

Yeah, that was the other way we were going to do it but I decided to just keep it in the glove box and I can always lock it if I wanted to.

The iPod interface is good stuff!
