Question about swapping an h23 into my 2.2cl
Hey guys, i got a guy i work with totaled his h23 prelude 5spd, he is gonna sell me the engine and tranny for 300 bucks with 65k on them...before i do this i just want to make sure, has anyone else done this swap? are there any major components that need replaced besides the ecu? do i need new wiring harnesses? and will the engine bolt right in with same motor mounts, and same tranny mounts? hope this is not too much to ask, i just need a good solid answer by monday morning. thanks for any help you can give me...B

OK, um I just read in the other thread that you are 375 lbs...on top of that you have 18" wheels. That makes it even harder to believe the mid 15 quarter mile time. Not that that's brake neck fast, cause it's not, but our cars are super slow!

nitrous 50 shot was involved in that race without the subs , or the 18's on it ( i put stockers back on) and my buddy drove it while i videotaped it, we shared my car at the track that day ( he weighs about 160), and are you gonna help me with the question i asked,or belittle me about some race times and my weight?

yes the motor will bolt in using the same mounts...use the stock cl harness with the motor...just get the correct ecu...this motor is alot stronger than the f22 or f23 ...you are getting a GREAT deal..the tranny alone is worth more than that...
put some cams in that h23 and you will be kicking ass big time
hope that helps
