i know that a prelude engine form a 94-97 will fit with out any mods to the compartment. bone stock it will produce 190 hp...supercharged depends on how much boost you will run. by the way if you find a decent price on that engine let me know i was looking to do the same thing.

It has them listed, but you have to call for a price. Let us know if you get a price from them or someone else.

Go with a turbo, look into them, do some research, I think you will like them better than supers.

Would it be possible to save the money and not get a prelude engine and instead just add a turbo to the stock motor?
If this can be done, do the internals need to be beefed up?

That would work. I'd suggest the 96 H22a engine though. You don't have to mess with the engine harness wires and stuff. 97+ H22a is a bit different. They're not known to hold a supercharger or turbo long w/o blowing stuff. Believe me, I know too many 5th gen Lude's that've blown up. I haven't heard of really any 4th gens.... unless they were being stupid. I think Jackson racing ins coming out with a charger kit for the h22a. And if you think a supercharger is less maintenance than a turbo ... think again... less means a little less. They are basically the same thing, one is just exhaust driven and the other is belt driven.
If you want to turbocharge ur current engine... Drag makes a turbo kit for the f22b, f23a (2.2CL, 2.3CL) As for interanls, you should definately get stronger retainers, head gasket, clutch, cam gears to adjust timing, platinum sparks w/ different gapping than stock, ignition and wires. I dunno too much about turboing the 4 cyclinder accord engines cause basically, no one bothers to cause it's a waste of money. I know more about the h22a (prelude motor) and b18c, b16a (integra/civic si) motors.

if your gonna do this swap i suggest using the h23a bottom end with a h22 head. It's a killer combo. And turbos are fun but a SC prelude motor is a fun thing, my buddy has one in a civic hatch and it's killer. He puts out about 10psi i believe and it's a real fast car. But turbo preludes are reaaal fun too, but require alot more work.
