Pre amp install questions???

Im going to intall my amp this weekend which mean from what I have gatered from this site, is that I will need to take apart the dash and doorsill trim but thats as far as I know, im not sure how I am supposed to access the trunk, is there a passage on both sides of the car because im running the RCA's on the passenger side and the power on the drivers side... does anyone any instructions on how to take apart the dash for the 98?

you dont need to take the dash off to install an amp. just run the power from your batterie and thread it through the firewall so it dosent look ghetto and you wont have to take the doors apart either.

dont run it under the doorsill. if you are going to go throught the trouble of taking off the doorsills pull up the carpet and run it along the center of the car. its not that hard to do and plus it will look a hell of a lot better. as far as the rcas go, there is a little gap on the passangers side under the dash between the dash and carpetand you can thread the rca down that and run it under the carpet the same way as the power but on the passangers side. very easy.

wouldnt i need to remove the seats to remove the carpet, and isnt there a raceway of wires going along the drivers side edge of the car under the doorsill going straight to the trunk?

You don't have to run it through the middle of the car. It isn't hard if you wanna do it that way. There's only 4 bolt holding down each seat. Run the RCA's under the carpet along the door sills. It's simple and you won't be able to see shit. To get to the trunk, just run it along the side of the back seat. Tuck it under the plastic and BOOM, no visible wires. Remember to run the RCA's and power wire along opposite sides of the car.
