Possible Shift Solenoid Problem
Hey everyone the other day i was giving my car a tune up at my friends house. We only changed 4 out of 6 spark plugs because two of them were for a truck (idk how Advance messed that up). After changing plugs, wires, and distributor cap the car tunred on fine than I sea fomed it, figured it was time.
After 20 minutes I started it up and the check engine light came up. Now whenever I seafoam it it only comes on if i put some in the crankcase so I fgured it wasnt that. One code was Misfire on Piston 3 (since I was using the old sparks anyway) and the second code was something about TCM/ Shift Solenoid switch. I was just like huh? I mean I got my tranny rebuilt a few months ago and its been running great so far.
The only tranny problem I had before a seal went and all the oil leaked out was the speed sensor. It kept blowing a fuse under the dash which would prevent me from putting it out of park and would drive like shit. Any thouhts? Should I be worried?
