K, bought these wheels






So I love black and I am also painting my trim black. (sorry cocoa)


I'm going for that look ^^... minus the bullet hole. I'm pretty sure you spray canned those though right?
and you've all seen my car before. I know I'm powdercoating them black, I just can't decide whether or not to do a satin black (think cocoas current car color) or a gloss black.

What do you guys think?

Satin black for sure, but you have to do your trim the same color whichever one you decide, but satin > all

gloss black, satin looks like flat black.
flat black is ok on some cars but people are starting to go flat black crazy, which to me looks like primer.

 

I've been leaning towards gloss black, but am not quite positive.

His car is black, gloss black is so played out, it's just like every other set of black rims IMO

 

i should have just searched i guess, for some reason i keep thinking his cl is green
but yes satin black forsure on a black cl and black everything else out too, would look sick. It's something that i'm considering doing too, if i don't find a nice set of aftermarket wheels

The black I have in that picture, is semi gloss black. It's not flat, but it's not glossy.

 

I think the CL with the hacked up front end is retarded.

I honestly have to say that you're out of your damn mind to do something like that.

 

I'd say leave the rims the way they are.

 

You gotta be a little crazy to put a twin turbo setup in a CL am I right?

 

I freak out every time I see a front end pic of Ethenol's car... It's scary.

Satin it is. so what do you guys thing about me matching the trim to the body color? Or would i be better off with just your average gloss black. I think matched would look better... or maybe I should do the trim satin black as well?

yeah, that would look nice.

 

satin black as i think you wouldn't be able to match the trim to the body color perfectly, therefore satin black would work better IMO

You are right. I am 99% positive that's what i'm gonna do.

I'm also gonna get a tint, nothing special, prob 40% on top of the factory 95%

(anybody on here have a tint like that on here?)
