plastic trimmin'....how much to paint?

hey guys

iam interested in paintin' the plastic trim on my 97 CL

how much should i pay for that?

any pics u guys could post?

if you mean the outer gray trim, should be no more than 300-400 bucks, roughly. they need to sand and prime that so the paint will hold. im gonna do mine soon also.

nah man, they gotta do a lot of prep work for that. get some paint and try yourself if you want. i mean, u can have a shop just paint it as is if your not too worried about the result, but if u want a good job, they need to prep that shit. if u feel it, its bumpy, not smooth, so painting as is wouldnt look too good. IMO

this guy on the south side will do it for 90 bucks.... there isn't much he won't do for 90 bucks.

we got a "guy" that tints windows for like whatever u got in your pocket. give him 20 bucks and a sandwich, and he'll tint anything with windows. does a hell of a job for a crackhead, i must say. i've seen his work, he's known in the neighborhood for his tinting skills.

as for the painting, dont cheap out on it, you ll regret it when all the paint starts flaking off like scabs.

no it is atleast 300-400 i am bringing mine to get it finished next week. i only have the rear bumper completely painted.. it looks pretty strange.. but you cant bring it to maaco or a place like it because you have to do it right or else it will come off no b.s. it isnt easy making paint stick to it

well.. I did mine for FREE when they paint my fender..

also, the center console and the LED mirrors..
