if you have to get an automatic, the dont get the 2 series (ie: 2.3) Get the 3.0/3.2 6cyl....
Transmissions seem to be the worst thing about our cars...they go out alot, so get a cl with an extended warranty!
I love my black CL...its hard to keep clean but once u clean it and shine it up...its the best looking car out there...*bling bling* hehe
I'd check carfax if i were you...and umm...i think thats about it...GOOD LUCK!!

The usual....CARFAX, available extended warranty, maintenance records, etc.
But for the car itself. If you're getting the 2 series, get 5-sp manual. Auto 2-series would definitely be under-powered. And test EVERYTHING for functionality...test all the electrical accessories like seat warmer, cruise, defog, power seat, etc. Also, if it's got the factory Bose system...MAKE sure it has the security code with it. Or else the first time you disconnect the battery for any kind of maintenace, and you don't have the code....you're gonna be spending $60-75 to have Acura pull the stereo and run the serial number to get the code.

do a carfax, make sure that scheduled maintenance has been done...if you're going to mod the car heavily just get the manual 2.3. Check the window regulators, and other random stuff that Honda is known to suck at. Should be easy since you have a Del Sol and probably know alot of people with Accords...same type of stuff
