It's at least caliper paint, should be heat resistant, just not as good as G2, that's what I'm doing my legend calipers with

no, it looks like theres a hole in the middle of your rim thats not supposed to be there lol. They were designed to have the covers on, so i'd keep them on. Just get a new one from a junkyard or online or something.

 

see for some reason,however you put the cap on (only on one wheel) it will fall right out again.the wheel is not holding it for some reason,tried it on two caps,the same side and same wheel keeps falling off

 

did u try different caps on the same wheel? something must be wrong with either 1 of the caps, or the area where the cap is supposed to snap in is worn off on the rim or something. you might have to place double sided tape on the edge of the cap to get it to stay, my boy had to do that with his accord.

 

ya i tried to two caps,and they both fail off ,ill probably try tape but i called many junkyards here in detroit,no one seems to have a CL

 

I took mine off of my stock wheels. when i had the stocks on i, spray painted the inside of where the cap once was. I dont think they looked bad?

 

thats a 98 or 99? i wish i can paint mine but my bolts are inside

Personally, the 97' 3.0 wheels are the ugliest wheels for the cl IMHO. The paint from the center caps flake off all the time too.
