"but for some reason, the way i held it when the guys were putting it on ended up at less of an angle. so i think i might have them put another bend in the piping or something to achieve that look"
Ehem, I meant not to angle it anymore than it is...sorry for the confusion

over the winter ill most likely be selling my Greddy SP2 and go for something a little bit louder. im gonna try and do 2.5" mandrel stainless steel piping back, no cat, into a HKS Hi-Power muffler. the Greddy is way to quiet for me, all i hear is intake.

put the CL up on the driveway today, to clean all the rest of the paint off the muffler. and i was looking at it from a certain angle in the garage. for some reason, it only looks like it from this one angle. lol. but this is how i want it to look all the time... maybe a little more tilted up.. not sure... what do you think?

i want to do the same for my 3.0 but im not sure how to do it i want it to look just like a eg hatch muffler like the way it points into the air and like a 35degree angle but i dont know what kind of muffler to get i dont want a rick sound from my 3.0 the intake makes it sound like it has balls i still want that deep sound.

lol yeah really... jeez, that just made me miss my car more
well, the angle looks ALOT better now that the car is sitting a few inches off the ground, i was waiting to lower it to see how much room i had to work with before angling it up a little more.
guess i'll have to wait for it to come back first tho..

well in my opinion good job on trying.. i myself have mastered this art of the angled exhaust. no pics up sorry too busy with the NAVY bullshit i get =) what you need to do is tilt more to right and angle up but not too much otherwise it'll look wack. ill try and get some pics up.. i got let's see.. 2.25 or 2.5 full piping. with i dont know what kind of exhaust my bro put it on. sounded clean.. not too loud or ricey the deep tone.. thats maybe why i never chaged it haha. and def lower your car (again?) it'll look way better. i got mad props already by it. mostly evos and suubs give the thumbs up to me. everyone else is just pissed off i did it first!

this thread is a couple months old so i might have beat you to it
but the car is lowered now on Tein HAs, and the reason its not up how you described is the guys at the exhaust shop fucked up. i put it at the angle i wanted and they totally fucked up. my cars in the body shop right now, when it gets out i'm reangling.
it's an a'pexi can, sounds nice and deep, not ricey at all.
maybe you did it first, who knows, probably just you and me tho, not many CL guys like the look. lets see some pics tho
