Pics of my angled exhaust... Haters welcome.
Well, it didn't come out how i wanted it to at all. it kinda looks limp, i wanted it to be angled facing up more up, like this
but for some reason, the way i held it when the guys were putting it on ended up at less of an angle. so i think i might have them put another bend in the piping or something to achieve that look. oh well. heres the pics of how it currently sits. not keeping it like this, i dont think. yeah, i know i need to lower it again.
blahhh, lemme know what you think, i'm a little dissapointed. it sounds beauuutiful tho, not too loud, not tin canish at alllll... a nice deep rumble, Apex'i, baby

it just doesn't look right to me =/. I think it's cause the cutout in the evo bumper is much larger than the CL.
props for trying something new though. I bet it sounds great

yeah it doesnt look angled at all i dont get why when it was up in the air at the exhaust shop and i was holding it for them it looked so much more angled... i'll probably get it redone, i had a new flange put on the piping so i could take off the can and throw my stock shit back on in like 5 minutes, cuz i knew this would happen

You know... I never understand why people say stupid things like "Haters welcome" and then get pissy when someone says they dont like it, (which I incidently didnt say). Also, I am right as to why people do that, but its whatever. Im sure you would know more about it than me. O and I like that picture in your avatar. The sky makes a sick background for your car.

the reason it looks better on the evo and not your car, is because the evo's bumper has a groove in it to make it look very... comfy and fit like a glove. yours is not, so it looks ghey

i like it, i dont see the problem with it.. u think its ricey or somethin?
a drop with tuner rims and a paint job w/ stock exhaust is not complete.
i think its very necessary when building a show-quality car

yeah, i only paid $100 for the Apexi can, so i just had to pick it up. i might be going in the shop again this week to reangle it, but i dont even know... i spent all day with my friend with a WRX wagon and he has the same can on his... it looks so much different... im not really feelin how it goes with our trunk either, but i dunno... maybe i'll get it reangled or something.. or just sell it.
heres his wagon, btw. sorry the pics blow hard, i didnt know my ISO was so high.

definitely not ricey if done well, dont get me wrong exhausts are as essential are wheels or lip kits/body kits, just that some people put them on for the wrong reason (ie civics and corollas with cut springs and n1 fart cans )

im gonna save up at least a $500 cushion before i buy more shit... im reangling and polishing the can tomorrow because i think since it was flat blacked by the previous owner, it looks dull as fuck, that might add to the gheyness factor...

I dunno why an angled exhaust would be such a commodity, it kinda looks like shit IMO. I'm not trying to put you down but I wouldn't want the muffler to be the focal point of my car.
