nicholbr....nice 'double 5 spokes'...definitely match the car...the drop will definitely fill in the look.
One suggestion to consider...painted calipers, as those rims are very open..IMHO

Yep, when you put on an open set of rims, the stock brake setup kind of gets lost in there. Me personally, would start off with red calipers to offset the rim & car color. Looking forward to pics with the TEIN's

looking good nicholbr get those teins on in a hurry ... another thing that i just remembered... you will probably want to buy some washers that will fit onto the strut bar bolts... the right side seems a bit snug it sits real low to the adjustment of the TEIN shock... so put a few washers under each bolt on the right (drivers) side of the strut bar and that should give you good clearance.
hope my info was helpful to you.

its fine you can go to autozone later and just use a 14mm socket to take the strut bar off it is real simple... 2 bolts on the right side hold the strut bar down... just take one of the bolts off and go into autozone or pepboys and get a pack of washers that will fit onto the bolt... then put in 3 or 4 should give enough clearance so you can adjust the knob with ease... if you ever need to adjust them... i really dont adjust the shocks much.
just for the front... driver side... the rears are fine you just pull your side carpet back to get to the rear struts.

oh shit i completely misunderstood, i remember you talking about that earlier...i had to take that bitch off to put my throttle body spacer in...i hate that thing ![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
i dont plan on adjusting the teins much once i find the setting i like.
2 more stupid questions then i'm done![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
completely clockwise is the stiffest setting right?
and i just want to double check that you dont have to take the shocks off to adjust the dampening?
if theres anything else you can remember that i should tell the shop installing that would be greatly appreciated! god i'm so fuckin pumped for friday!

no completely... there is no complete turn.... turn the dial all the way to the left... counter clockwise until it cannot go any further... that is 0 setting... turn it 16 clicks to the right to get to the stiffest don't go past 16. yeah you keep the shocks on to adjust the setting just turn the knob. make sure you measure the settings of your coilovers so they are even...
how low are you going?
how low are you going?

like you had said before 1 inch on the front between the perch and the bottom of the green things on the threading and around 1.3 inches left on the rears. I love how yours looks and i think i will be satisfied for quite sometime with that setting.
also how long have you had yours and have you had any trouble with them? (the manual recommends cleaning them etc...have you done any of this?)

no cleaning done... i would have ot say you need to raise it up because my wheels are tucked... well with the offset of my tires if i was to be in specs for camber i would have to raise the car up about an inch.
i think im going to just go with no camber kit and then but some 16" rims again... some nice light ones in gunmetal.

are you planning to get your camber in spec? im not sure because it all depends on what your wheel offset is. If your offset makes it so your wheels tuck when u have it lowered then you can go as low as u want...
my offset would not allow me to go as low as i am at the moment... if i had a camber kit...
the 1 inch in front and 1.3 in the rear is not the setting you see in my pictures... That was like 1.5-1.7 in the front and like 2.4 in the rear... the rear is weird because the springs are real short so when you raise the car the spring does not sit in the top perch... so you gotta lower the rear slowly and make sure that the spring gets into the right place.
right now my front wheels are tucked over half an inch and rear is just tucked like .3 of an inch.
i think it makes it look even better than the pics i have in the www. ur stalking ur own thread lol.
they are adjustable so let them settle and see what you like... the numbers are just estimates. It might look different on your car anyway.
