Does anyone out there have any experience with Piaa's ion yellow bulbs - preferably 55 watt (H3) or higher wattage bulbs? These bulbs supposedly create yellow light from a bulb with an ion coating.

Do these bulbs actually create a good yellow light similar to Piaa's other Ion yellow fog lamps?

I have stock Acura CL fogs and want to put these bulbs in.

I'm sure if you get PIAA ion yellow bulbs they are the same color as all other PIAA ion yellows.

I have the older H3 Ion Crystals in the fogs of my WRX. They're very pretty, but they're dimmer than the stock bulbs.

Ever try Hella Yellowstars? Much cheaper and bright & yellow too!

Hey Ridinlow - do the hella yellowstars cast a true bright yellow light similar to crystal ion Piaa fog lamps.

I don't have any pics, but I've seen them and they're every bit as yellow (if not yellower) than the PIAA Ion Crystal H3 55W bulbs I have in my WRX. If you're interested, I'm hosting a group buy on them. You'll pick them up from me at the January iClub meet in Queens.
