Passenger Seat problem

I bought this 2 days before and the passenger seat does not lock in place now. It slides back and forth when I accelerate and decelerate. I took it to an Acura Mechanic (not dealer) and he asked $250 to replace the channel assembly. Did any body had this problem before? Is their any other cheap fix, for example, swapping the assembly from a Accord or something?

Thanks for any help.

You could swap from a junked CL, or Accord.

One of my friend said that it could be a recalled item. Anybody aware of that?
