Does anyone know what the exact name or part # of that is? I would assume its the battery cover but i do not know for sure. Thanks.

For some reason it doesn't have those parts on the 99's. I swore they made them for that year. if not, do you think it would fit mine? I don't see why not.

It's the same for the 97 and 98 for sure, I don't see why 99 would be any different

i like acura
i think its possible cause a granny owned my car before me, and didnt touch anything.my back seats were still wrapped up in the rubberband from the factory, i dont think anyone had ever sat in the back seats. im sure she didnt take the battery cover off.

My 98 has a battery cover. I don't know why acura would take it off with all the plastic that are all around the engine bay which is designed to hide all the ugly engine parts and make the engine bay looker cleaner and nicer.

I think what might have happent is that when a mechanic went to unplug the battery or something they just took it off and forgot to put it back on. Thats the only explanation i could think of.

I do believe I read somewhere about the 99's not having them once before. Check your plastic battery box, if there are clip holes (squares) around the top of the batt box, then you can snap one right on.
