I'm about ready to get my first oil change on this car and I am having a debate over what oil i should use. The sticker in my car says penzoil. I read a thread earlier and many people were saying to use sysnthetic. It was under my understanding that it is not good to switch from natural to synthetic. Anyone have any opinions on this?

i use castrol full sythetic but if you go synthetic, i would use a part synthetic first for about 2 oil changes then switch to a full

I use castrol full synthetic too on my motor. I use Mobil 1 ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid)synthetic for my tranny. I hope you guys remember to do tranny flushes for those of you that pound on your tranny, hehe. I do mine every 10,000 miles.

by 10,000 miles, i meant tranny flush, not oil change, haha.

use either mobil 1 5w-30 or royal purple
make sure u use 5w-30 for the 2.3 since you have cold winters
