OEM Alarm Trunk Button

Is The OEM "alarm" trunk button supposed to work?

yes it is supposed to work. in order for the trunk to "open" you need to hold the trunk release button for a second or two. i believe it is a safety feature or such.

Hold it for 2 or 3 seconds and the trunk should pop up.

try putting in a new battery. if that doesnt work, you might have to get a new one.
