i have a 3.0 97 and i get some shitty gas mileage. my uncle always used 89 and since i started hearing that 87 was better so i switched and im gettin like 175 until the light goes on and have to fill up again. when i used 89 for like 3 fill ups i got around 200 to 225 until fill up.

my question is wtf is up and what gas should i use? should i just go back to higher octane or stay or what?

I use the 92 quality, i get about 280-300 miles per tank...before the light goes on at (3 gallons)

87 is what will allow the car to run best. Do a search, this topic has been talked about A LOT.

ya i know but just hope i can get some better mileage with 87
