octane

I had terrible pinging with 87 octane,so i switched to 93 and the pinging is gone, i was wondering if anyone else had this issue, and if 89 would be enough to solve the problem, or does it take 93?

if you are detonating on regular something is wrong with the motor, id start with checking the plugs.

wow i switch to 87 from 91, because of gas prices, and it feels soo much better with 87

im too poor to buy the expensive shit. the extra 1-2 mpg you get isnt worth 15c a gallon.. really do the math..

Cool

I have a horrible ping even after using 93 octane for 2 years. Maybe I should invest in the Nology plugs.
