obd 2 sensor HELP

obd 2 sensor HELP

i need help finding the obd 2 sensor, its the thing you connect to your cars computer to figure out why the engine check is on.... i left my car on for 5 hours today while i was at school(what a jack ass) and when some 1 told me about it i turned it off a few hours later jump in my car and turn it on and the engine light is on.... any help would be helpful, i took it to autozone (2 of them) and they couldnt find where it was, they told me to come back when i find it...

It's behind your ash tray below the radio. Just open it up and pull it out.
