nooobie audio question
How do you bypass the bose speaker's preamps. I have a 97 3.0 base model. I don't feel like paying out 100$ to put in my new headunit. But since I have no knowledge of how to bypass them I dont really have a choice. The headunit is an Alpine CDA-9855 if that helps. Thanks in advance guys

its been done before.. search for it and if you dont find it ill hook u up.////
fawk it..
get the appropriate wiring harness adapter. hook everything up as colors match up on the radio and adapter plug in adapter, take the blue wire comming from your radio which is eather gonna be the remote wire, or power antenna wire, hook that wire up to the blue wire comming from the adapter, that wire turns on your bose amp.. there is no bypassing. and you will not blow your speakers. ive had mine hooked up like this for over 2 years and no problems yet. good luck pimp.. and someone make this a stickey. cause my brown ass hates typing.
