On a side note. Do those things even work? I heard the dustbuster and a couple othrs have them. I'd ask them first before buying. I'm sure there is a reason he's selling it.

its supposed to make the air into a vortex type thing....providing more air basically

i have one on my muscle car, a 67 mustang and it gave the mustang about 6 hp or so

with the imports its a little better but its basically a TB spacer but it spins the air and makes a vortex sort of, but i love the noise it makes, like a whistle

BTW are you including all the bolts and everything, and just to make sure this will fit the 3.0 right?

I will tell you know it is the RIGHT one... Bigman is my neighbor and i bought his for him when I bought mine!!! He has the correct mounting bolts as awell - whether he will include thoues I do not see why not, but do not know.

He is trustworthy too... so if you are gonna buy it from him.. I vouch you can trust he will get it to you quickly and safely!

Thanks casper. Yes this is the 3.0 spacer. The reason i am getting rid of it is because i installed the type s throttle body on my car. Local guys can come and have it installed at a friends shop for cheap. The Spacer will run for 65 plus shipping, or 60 picked up. The new ones go for 75 plus shipping, and sometimes more. This is the original that makes the wooshing sound. The new one does not make any sound. PM me for more details.

Hmmm, sounds good. My car hs a CAI on it, so wouldn't teh spacer push the CAI closer to the fender side wall?

wait a second... so a throttle body spacer makes air into a vortex....

isn't that what the claim of that tornado thingie informercial thing?? yes I know this subject has been talked about and ed and things of that sort but if the tornado thing does the same thing why does that not work and the throttle body work? if indeed the TB works can u put both in hopes of increasing the votex effect?

I believe so I saw a picture of it installed on someones car on here... it fits between the intake manifold and the intake itself.. so it should push the cai towards the fender wall.

The vornado thing on infomercials does actually work JUST like the TB spacer thing here. However if you put both of them on there the "vortex" created by the first one would either clash with the one created by the spacer, or it would slip right through it because it would already be doing the thing and it wouldn't make any difference. thought eh TB spacer might be better engineered than the $15 vornado.. just a guess :P.

the vornado is actually a brand of fan... a good one at that.

the tornado is more like 60 bucks...

Well, I'm guessing the the tornado thing is exactly the same as these helix power3e towers except that these work witha CAI and the tornado sdoes not. If it get's about 6 HP on a Domestic car, then that "22 hp gains" must have been on either a V12 or V8 Import... Just a guess as the domestic engines seem to gain less power from bolt ons.

the helix tower is nothing like the tornado. The tower has nothing blocking airflow. All it does is create a vortex aiding in the hemoltz effect of the intake manifold.
