It seems as if I only have power to my left wheel, when I go to take off fast when it's dry I get wheel spin. When I got to take off at a normal speed and the road is wet it even worse, is this normal or is something wrong. Seems like absolutely no power to right side wheel, let me know if any of you know what this is

 

because CLs dont have LSD, only one wheel will spin, its normal.

Where can I get a good LSD for my car at a good price, Ive heard that phantom grip is ok, but that quaiff is better

 

Stay away from phantom grip...heard of them exploding in three different trannies that I know of.

Quaifes or Kaaz are the ones I'm looking at...about $800.

Hope you can install it yourself cause the install will be > $400.

BTW if you find a 97 Prelude app its the same as ours.

 

I thought the automatics had traction control. I experience this too, especially in snow/ice.

 

Maybe the 2nd Gens. I've never heard of the 1st gens having traction control, but I could be wrong. I know mine dosen't.

Emmmm, well maybe my car is a freak, but I do in fact have LSD. Which I just want to make sure, stands for Limited Slip Differential. Both wheels spin, and I some how seem to beat every single car that I race off of the l;ine. Bur after that it is pretty much downhill.

 

Which LSD do you have and how much did it cost and from where did you get it?

 

They dont come with a stock lsd. Unless someones put one in the car it has a stock differential.

If you're still selling the CL you'll have to ask more for it since its the only one in the world with a lsd.

I know that it may sound stupid that I say I ahve LSD. But I know for a fact that I do. I have no idea what kind it is, but I know it isn' stock, if I failed to mention that. All I know is that the tranny was replaced because some fawker fucked around too much, when he put in the new tranny he also put in many oher parts. Other than LSD, nothing was really for performance. For instance, when I looked at the car on the lot, it was lowered with Cosmo Coilovers. But when I bought the car they were taken off by my dad. But if you don't believe me, then that is fine, I can't convince you if you don't want to believe.

 

open diff's are weak.. you'll never go anywheres.. find a jdm honda LSD.. they're really good and cheap too.. handle around 400-500hp.. and to the person saying he has a LSD in his stock tranny.. your crazy.. but if you vigiriously shake the wheel back and forth while your heating your..prolly street tires.. up you can get both to heat up.. use drag radials tho.. and spray off rev limiter at the line.. drop the clutch.. you'll take a few cars
