I need some information on how to get rid of the woodgrain. I' am starting to get sick of it and something needs to be done. Is there replacable non-woodgrain parts i could put in if I remove the woodgrain. Also, somebody said there is covers you can put on top of it. If this is true somebody please tell me where to get this and roughly how much it costs. Please somebody give me some tips on what I should do. Thanks

just an idea...
back in the day, when we used to want to change the color of anything nylon/plastic, and it would be exposed to wear/tear (i.e. paint wasn't gonna cut it), we would dye it -- that's right, dye it, like the crap old ladies use to make it look like they got a new dress, lol -- and it works something kick-ass, u just have to be careful not to melt it, and find the right size pot,

why get rid of the wood? i like the wood it makes our cars look classy.i just don't understand. kinda like totally debadging the trunk,why take off all the emblemsi want people to know i got the big dog 3.0

on i really like the 98-99 woodgrain in the middle concole compared to the 97, the 97 looksl like

another idea: my body shop said they could probably tint it so it looked like blackwood

the ploodgrain on the dash of the 97's does look like ...send your pieces off to www.phoenix-image.com and let them tint your pieces or put any other type pattern you could think of on them

i wanna take off my 2.3cl badge and do a little altering so it just says CL

Here's a thought for you, something I always thought about doin. Debadge the acura on the left, 2.3CL on the right, cut the CL off, and mount it in the center under the "A" that'd look nice

make a custom 5.0CL emblem to make the ricers wanna rev on u

if i do anything to my emblems i'm gonna take off the acura and the 3.0cl off the back and do the 2g style A C U R A on the trunk(bigger & spaced out) maybe then get another 3.0cl emblem and find somewhere on the side like under the marker light im installing on the fender

lol i was washing my car last summer and I accidently ripped off the "CL" part when the sponge caught the sharp end of the L... now my car just says "2.3" Been meaning to fix for the past... 5 months hehe
