No more races
If I get beat by another swapped civic I'm gonna throw this CL in the Hudson River..Scenario I just roll up to the street racing spot did a round to see who's out there when this kid comes up to me and asked if I wanted to run. I first ask him what he got and he says a bubble. I asked is it swapped and he said nope. I said sure I should be able to smoke a bubble with bolt ons. WTF happened next they say go and the SOB pulled 3 cars from the jump on me. I catch up and say MF you lied. He had an LS/VTEC with bolts on and they bitched launched like crazy. A couple of weeks ago a 96 4door civic w/ GSR swapped ate me up..F*in swapped civics>heavy ass CL...I knew I should of bought the CL-S when I had the chance, but I would probably need driving school by now if I did.

Naww..I was on a roll for a while I didn't lose..but with these swapped civics I can't catch them. I might have to trick wifey into letting my swap it.

i dont like civics, but i really hate the civic hatches!!! they run in packs of 15 down the jersey shore... its rediculous, me and my buddy joe (saldino9885) went out the other night and started lowering there self confedence lol. 2 by 2 baby

i can't see going from the cl to a wrx. legacy baby. thats the way to roll. sti engine and all. $600 later and you unlock the ecu and boost up to sti levels. u will never have there tranny though but a 13 sec luxury sedan with awd is hot. especially for under 30k.
yeah platano i had all kinds of idiots trying to race me. even when i was on the local side of the parkway they try and race from the express side. idiots. 3 civics, one rsx, 3 older galants, one new cord, and last but not least one clk320. i ignored almost all of them cept for one civic slammed with hid kit. blew him away at the toll booth. then when he finally caught up i didn't even bother dropping into 4th. idiots. i wonder how many of them are on their web boards talkin how they put a smackdown on a new legacy cuz of their fart can and apc stickers. hahaa.

Oh lord I thought I had it bad you get all kinds of fools too bothering you..it was wierd when i first got my car. i was like finally no one will bother me, but i was dead wrong. i get bothered more with this car looking almost completey stock then with very modified cl. i finally realized i'm seen as the car everyone wants to test. it really sucks. i have yet to drive on any highway and not get called out. ignoring them seems to make them even more agressive. i typically just wait for them to indirectly get some other idiots attention and they go at it. and in nj that's pretty easy.
i've been trying to hold off go fast parts till after suspension but at this rate the idea of humilating them as much as possible is priceless

bubble? i thought they called 94/95 chevy caprice's bubbles. and the older ones are boxes.? eather way. that sucks to lose to someone lying. thats why i dont race anyone unless is see them race first.

yeah my friends 00 si with i/e would put car lenghts between us after 50-60 even with i/h/e/p/i and some light volks on my cl. he totalled it and has a 01 cl-s auto. role reversal is nice

A CL can be fast, but who wants to drive a gutted, all-motor CL? I mean, the CL is an entry-level luxury car, not a rice rocket. They are quick enough to hold their own in traffic, that is all that matters. Besides, too many launches=dead ass transmission. Oh, and yes, the CL is cursed with a fast look. People look at the Mistress all the time. Some of these would-be racers try to push my buttons, but most times I just ignore them. I only really care to race on the open interstate. Top end is good, low end, not so good unless I launch, and as I said, Too many launches=dead ass transmission. It just aint worth it with this car.

3.0=dead ass transmission regardless Sometimes you can't avoid the little racers. I drive Rt 78 in NJ and never fails someone is bothering me. Had a nice run with a TSX this morning.
