I don't like it, personally... If I had the dark interior like yours I'd wrap the woodgrain with carbon fiber or black vinyl.

That tint spray is a little too runny for my liking and I dont think it would hold up well on the woodgrain. so

I REALLY want the dark interior. Yours looks awesome Chris. I can get the dash, seats, and door panels, but I'd need a steering wheel and passenger airbag too which is not something I really want to mess with.

Chris, I think I'm going to copy your idea on this one... That looks sick, plus I'm already looking at a bit of a custom dash over the spring-summer time to fix a nice scratch in my trim panel by a friend of mine...

Thanks matt, I highly recommend it. I'm not done doing my 2 tone black interior, but there's a lot of options and parts you can do, so far I've done my woodgrain, vents, steering wheel trim, speaker grills, and door sills, I like the black a lot more than the woodgrain, never been a big fan

Thanks for the vote...the book looks familar, i'm willing to bet I know what it is.

Chris....the trim looks great, It would be cool if there was a way to turn the trim black bur wood. If i was the OP and wanted to, I'd give it a shot, and try, especially is he is going to paint it full black as a second option.

any update? did you try it with the nite shade? to be honest, i think it would work to darken it. it might not become black wood, but it would at least be a much darker brown as opposed to how it stands now. if anything, since its already off, if you don't like it you can always wrap it with vinyl or paint it over another color.

i'd nite shade, clear coat it after, and then compound/wetsand and then polish to make it smooth again. when it's a little warmer, i will take the time to try this.
