The Newest Sneak Peak Of Project Dual Projectors !!!

What you all have been waiting for is a sneak peak of what im working at. It may look like nothing but this is over a year and a half finding parts and the right parts for that matter and the matching ones if that. It may look unfinished but thats what it is, cause i need to find one part that a store is out of to make my custom trim. Both projectors will have a polished/chrome trim.

For all those who have been saying I am not doign it here ya go, one side almost finished

Joe

I think none look better than the ones VXCL had on his old CL. Now his headlights
were freaking pimp. They looked professionally done.

Nonetheless, good job on your effort and time.

come on noob, VXCL was good but mine is twice as hard with a dual setup runninng a DRL like OEM lexus have them and then angel eyes are coming too but you didnt see those, cause they are not done, one side at a time man, trim is all custom made, and it will look just like the E46 trim like vxcl had but it will not say "XENON" it will be clean with a nice lip trim from an audi, so have patience and dont bag noob

i would like to see you try to do this work, im designing all the work myelf, all the trim is custom designed, the angel eyes are custom fitted, the setup is one of a kind, and you cant say shit on this, and comparing me to VXCL is not right considering mine is not even done yet

shame shame

but oh well for those who left some positive feedback, thanks

devine, have patience mine will top VXCL's for sure, the amount of time put in to the light will be 3 times as much and the instructions that im making to help others do this mod is props alone, if you havent seen my instructions someone host my woodgrain removal instructions, 8 pages step by step with pics and its 8mb, this new instructions will be topping 20 mb easy

peace

joe in one of the pics the projectors seem to stick out very far. have you fitted the lense back on with the chrome trim??? or just the clear lense? there is almost no tolerance in there. i assume you have both lined up to fit through the oem rubber seals.

everyone else thank for the compliments. my setups were very different. 1st was audi tt projectors and second was a bmw bi-xenon setup. i am the OG of the xenon retro on this forum not many know this but i was in the process of starting a led tail retro before i sold my car. had some nice benz donors that were shaped similarly enough for our housings. i would like to see some else do it now that my cl is gone because i know it would have looked pimp. before you ask for the parts I sold them on ebay to help pay fpr the legacy.

peace.

Damn, if you still had the parts, I would have grabbed them off you right away and started. I'll have to look around and see how feasible something like that would be.

Well I gave my opinion on the work and as VXCL mentioned the projectors seem to stick out very far making them look like goldfish eyes. I was not offending you in anyway. I still told you good job on the effort and timing. Obviously you didn't read the last sentence on my post. So with that said, why don't you go take a
COLD shower and cool down.

they were s class benz lamps. only the brake and tail were led. pretty sure blinkers were halogen. very nice compact units. the g35 coupe looks like a good donor for the inside bar of leds. the sedan's are too big for our lenses.

they shoudl be fine mike if i measure them correctly, but i can always move then back i have some play to play aroudn with if they are too close to the lense, the small sngel eyes i have fit perfectly around the trim i got and im designing a replica of the e46 trim, hopefully it will come out ok

thanks for all the feedback

oh joe i should mention that on outlaws setup i did where the projector was mounted much farther foward then mine it ended up having problems with the paint i used on his housings. it baked it off right under the projector. you may want to look into some really high temp pain and maybe take some extra time with the paint prep if your going to balck the housings.

how would you make sure the projector is aimed correctly when trying to figure out a location to mount it in?

the high beam i do not need to worry about that it is set and i have a pretty good eye for levelness with projectors, i get it on the first try usually

the low beam, i utilize oem aiming with my current setup so you can adjust the aiming with your stock aiming
