Mannn....you guys should cherish the CL that you have. Now that my CL is gone, and i hate the replacement car that i got, i would KILL to have a CL again ! The replacement is a 98 Altima SE 5sp, and it has leather and all that bullshit, but it will never even come close to the CL . I cant wait to get rid of that thing. But anyway, my question is this. Should i look for another 2.3CL which i can buy as soon as i sell the altima and mod it like i was doing the previous CL i had? i loved the mix of great gas mileage and performance and the styling was oh so fresh (people kept asking me if it just came out)....or wait till november of this year and start shopping around for an 03 Type S 6speed? I like the styling of the 99 better, but i might be patient enough to wait for 260hp/6speed and navi, although with some money and effort the 99 CL can be made fast too. what do you guys think?

Yeah man..wait for the 6spd, I don't miss my CL at all and with the 6spd you don't have to worry about having your tranny crap out on you only clutches, also by November they may be down to 16k I've seen a couple at 18.5 with low mileage now..check this place out... www.carvisions.com

the back isnt too bad, though i much prefer the first gen ass.
i understand they probably want to get away from that accord look for the front, but it just doesnt look very good IMO.. they could have done better.
i dont think cars get much more than our 1st gens
i know many disagree, but hey, that's just me.

1st of course!
Greets to All,
Just wanted to introduce myself to all fellow members.
I'm the proud (1-week) owner of a 1st Gen 2.3CL and lovin' it
Waited and held out for almost 2-months before I finally found a mint '99 model.
The first time I seriously considered a CL was only after looking for 5-speeds which were a bit larger than the sporty Tiburons, but offered much nicer amenities and of course more style than flash.
I spent several weeks lurking these forums to reinforce my choice to get a CL. With so many praising their rides, it made me more determined than ever to get one.
Once I found my ride and sealed the deal, I could now finally join as a real CL owner
I would definitely acknowledge that through (unbiased opinion ) the 1st Gen is the sexier of the CL gens.
Great forums, great members.
I feel privileged to own one now

F1 cart racer
i like both gens, but i like the front and ass of the first gen better. but i do think if the 2nd gen is done up right it is a very nice sleek sexy looking car, but to me the 2nd gen needs the stock wing IMHO. when i had my first gen i always got people asking about it and trying to run me, ricer civics, and then i blew thier doors off. i loved my first gen, but i'm wanting a 2nd gen 6 speed soon. Me and my dads project---hopefully find a 6speed thats pretty decent and not to many miles on it. then we are looking to get it supercharged w/intercooler, lowered, rims ect. something clean, classy, and a sleeper.

if i go newer, whats the probability of me being able to get 1 with navi for 16K or less? what will prices for the 03 CLS6 be like at the end of this year? Another thing that makes the 1st gen so attractive is gasprices and the fact that i was so familiar with the car i could do almost all the mods by myself...comments?
