Newbie Wants To Lower '98 CL 3.0
I have a '98 CL 3.0 and I was wondering what I need to do and how much will it cost. From some of the posts I've read there is a Comptech springs kit available for CLs from 2001 and up but I haven't seen anything for the first generation CLs. If anyone has had it done to their 98 CL could you please supply me with some info? Also, if you live in Northern Virginia, could you recommend a reputable shop? Thanks.

Springs from a 94-97 Honda Accord will fit your 98 Acura CL I believe. The prices I'd imagine would range from 140-200 dollars for springs, like Eibachs and H&Rs. If my friends and I don't do the work ourselves, for suspension stuff I go to have my parts installed at CDE Motorsports in Fairfax. They are on the expensive side (200+ easily), but I've had good experiences with them. Otherwise, other shops like Vertex or Nu-Image will charge you maybe 150 for the install. If you need any more info, just say so.

Yeah that's about right. I have the same stuff, except I have H&Rs instead of Eibachs, and thats about what I paid for the parts, little bit cheaper for the H&Rs maybe, although I do wish i had Sportlines.
