Newbie Questions
Just bought my 98 2.3CL and have a few questions about it. I already searched but couldn't find anything. Here it goes, I hope someone can help:
The guy I bought it from said it had heated seats, I don't see any buttons for the heated seats so I was wondering if they are hiding or he just lied to me and my car does not have it. I have leather seats though. Can anyone explain?
Number two, there are three rubber buttons by the domelight, near the sunroof. Each one has dots on them, number consecutively (one dot, two dots, three dots). I press them and the little red light turns on but nothing happens, what is this for? (and please don't say the heated seats cause I will feel really dumb.)
Last question, was $6,500 (what I paid for it) a good price for a 98 2.3CL in NJ, automatic, leather, power driver seat, 92,000 miles, clean engine, a rust spot the size of a raisin, very clean interior, glossy white paint, and decent tires?
Thanks

#2 I'm pretty sure is something called "Homelink", basically like a garage door opener type thing. I don't have it on my car so I couldnt say for sure, but thats what it sounds like.

Yup $6500 is a good price. I paid $6600 for mine that had 103,000 miles on it when I bought it. The front tires were shot, brakes gone, needed spark plug/timing belt/water pump. We (my dad and I) probably ended up spending closer to $7500 to buy and fix up the car.
I think fair market value is $6300 here, if I remember correctly.
98 2.3CL's don't have heated seats... Correct me if I'm wrong. The guy lied to you!
The Homelink programming is in the manual, by the way.

I have button blanks by the shifter so I don't have heated seats, DAMN!!! Anyways, I still like the car. The homelink thing might be correct but I don't have a garage so it does me no good. Thanks to all.

I dunno, I just remember hearing you saying it wasn't running.
