Newbie to F series engines and such

Ok so i own a civic and am very familiar with d, b, and know some about h series engines. I am looking to buy a 97 cl, but it appears that the v6 models with what im assuming is the j30 engine (same as accords? to my knowledge) only have a auto transmission. Is that right? Also i know that accords with the f-series engines are easy to swap a h22 into... is the cl chassis the same? Is an h-series swap going to be fairly straight forward? One more question for now, how avalible are parts for the CL chassis.... such as shocks, spring, suspension stuff and so on... i know that i could probably walk into a grocery store and pick up something for my civic cause civic parts are everywhere, but will it be that muchmore difficult to locate CL parts. Thanks in advance.

The CL is H22 swapable...yeah fairly straightforward. for chassis parts get 94-97 accord parts theyre the same as the CL i believe (correct me if wrong guys), so i dont think ull have a problem finding those. The CL doesnt have much aftermarket support though, thas y we scavenge off the accord parts lol. Use the search button..its ur friend, not to mention people on this board frown upon asking questions such as those without searching lol

Well ill narrow this down a little cause i having trouble with this: Is there a 97 or 98 model that has the j30 v6 motor, and has a manual transmission. I know the newer accords have the 6 speed option, but it appears that the 97 models have only an auto trans mated to the j30 block

suspension wise there's fine support...no components are really hard to find (bushings etc.)...only thing missing is an upper control arm camber kit...but one is being engineered right now

the f22 has minimal support (actually it has pretty good support...just compared to the civic market it's minimal)...it can be built but you'd have to source parts...there's a few companies that can custom make pistons, rods, regrind cams and such
