New tires...Need Alignment?

quick question peeps! I just got my tires rotated and new tires in the front... for some reason my steering is off by about 2 degrees. I'm assuming an alignmet. But i didnt expect to need one. Is this normal?
Thanks

Its recommended about once a year. The difference in tires may make it seem more necessary, so it may be a good time to do it. Personally i have no money so I would ignore it.

I have that same problem too. When I got new tires, I also got an alignment but my steering wheel is still a little off. Guy that did my alignment said its ok. But the steering wheel not being centered bothers me. can it be anything else other than alignment?

If the car is not 100% aligned to the steering of the car doesn't mean the wheel alignment is wrong. It is true that the car tire alignment being off can be making the car pull but it not usually the case. You only have to get an alignment if your tire shows uneven wear on your tires.

It can be: One tire is not inflated correctly, one is off by couple of psi, different tires on the car, shocks are bad or not worn evenly, Steering wheel is not aligned correctly. There are many others.

It bothers the Heck out of me too! I had this problem with a '90 Corrola. I expect so much better with my CL !!

FYI: prior to alignment car did not pull in any direction. Even from a red light, my car would continue in a straight line.

After getting the new tires in the front: My car's steering wheel is off by 2 degrees, AND the car pulls to the Right!

You'd think the guys at Pep Boys [Local Car store] would have recommended an alignment.
