HAHAHAHAH!!! i know!!! i did that to piss you off!!
ok heres the deal... i had to call my insurance company this morning and give them my statement of what happened. the whole thing took bout 20 min. long story short.... i told them not to total out my car cause it was my only means of transportation, the lady on the line said "kool" and she then went on to tell me that they were gonna cut me a check at the ammount of $4,200
quik question... anyone know who to contact for a carbon fiber hood?

LOL!! i can also see where the insurance company is coming from cause CL's are waaaaay more rare to find parts for than say a civic or an integra, so obivously parts will be a lil more pricey

I don't know how they do it where yall from but down in LA. You can buy the car back after they cut you a check for the totaled ride.
Also I've done body work before and that doesn't appear to be alot of damage at all. If the motor didn't shift and the frame didn't twist or bend. Your golden

4200 is weak, I didnt talk to them over the phone, instead I had the body shop show them EVERY SINGLE piece of damage so they could milk it out and haggle with them on a higher price so I could get a few more things done, I got 5k for my hail damage to repiaint the car

another update!..... after begging and pleeing with my insurance company... they are still gonna total out my car.... the amount that they are gonna give me is 3600 to fix it and itll be a salvaged title.... or they would give me 5200 and they keep the car!....
im going with the 3600 to fix it... i love my CL....
so my question is... what would you guys do in my situtaion??? FYI i bought the car for 6000, stock, clean title
