I have a '97 2.2CL (non-premium version) and am wondering if the head unit needs to be replaced in order to install a sub. So my questions are these:

1) Does anyone know if the stock head unit has pre-outs for adding a sub?
2) If not, is there an attachment that can be used to add a sub with the stock head unit?
3) Or is it worth the money to invest in a new head unit if I'm adding a sub (which do you recommend)?

2.yes, speaker level imput, it takes the imput from the 2 rear speakers and puts them into a sub output
