Should I wipe the bulb surface clean with alcohol to make sure there is no dirt or grease that will pop the bulbs? They look a little dusty and I don't want to put them in and have them pop.
Will it hurt it if i use alcohol and a Q-tip?
Thanks

Don't put anything liquid on the bulb itself. When the bulb heats up, any liquid on the bulb will heat up to extreme temps, start to boil, and then you have problems. If you want your bulb life to last, put dialectric grease on the connector. I wouldn't tuch the bulb at all if I were you, especially with liquid. What kind did you get??

I got the hella yellowstars for my fogs. I didn't want to pay the high prices for PIAA ion yellows but I wanted a bulb that would be real yellow to cut through fog etc... and look good!
I'm not sure these will match my other yellows but i hear it's a good bulb.
