What's up ....I just bought a 2.2 cl and was wanting some tips on how to take it up a notch or two I know next to nothing about vehicles so I'm a real newby if anybody knows of any tuturial I could read on my ride that would be great (or else xzibit is going to have to pimp my ride) so hook a young gal up with some info I would really appreciate it. info on the ride its a '97 5spd oh yeah and i can't get the stickin radio out of auto theft mode i used the code that came with it but the stinker wont work if anybody knows how to fix that i would be oh so happy thanks

actually the vin # only works if the radio is the one that came with the car. easiest way to do it is get the serial off of the back of the radio(takes like 30 sec to take it out no shit)and take it to the nearest dealership. you will have to have ID title and possibly registration handy. they will look up your radio and give you the code. the reason i say this is bc my car was stolen about a year and a half ago and when i stole it back the radio, spare, manual, and a few other things were missing. but the chick left a whole crap load of her clothes in the car(she was at work when we went to steal it back) bras panties shirts skirts pants etc. i threw all that stuff out on the way back but i kept the panties.....lol jk. anyway i had to get a new radio. i left my lights on+battery went dead+radio quit working=i had to get a new code.

Nice to have you on board. Get the serial number from you radio and you will get the code from Acura. Or replace that head unit with something nice. Stock HU sucks. No MP3 and no iPod jack. As for mods, you can read all about it on here. There is a lot of stuff people do to their cars. Some of it is and some is . You will have to be your own judge on what is what. Uhhh good question the color is like a uhhh sliver like lilac or somthing i tried to find that out. i thought the color would be on the side of the car door but it wasnt there. and I reside in Oklahoma city going to school to be a nurse...but my end destination is probably atlanta georgia my sister lives there and she is an aspiring producer. oh yeah if i get a new head unit what kind should i get my big bro said a kenwood excolon(spelling wrong) but i would like the best so any suggestions would be great

Oh, I forgot a radio thing... I've posted pics of my JVC, KD SX980. It has a remote, mp3, and a line in jack for plugging in iPods, laptops, walkman cassette players, pretty much anything that has a headphone jack. very usefull though it was inovative when I bought it almost three years ago... I would imagine there are some newer versions of it. Very nice sound, mates well with the BOSE.

yea, I've had only one head unit since I first got my license. It's a Pioneer something or other (havn't thought about it in a while). I got it in 2001 when I first got my Camaro and took it with me through every car I've owned and plan on installing it on my acura as well. However it doesn't have an input for my iPod, but I know there is a converter that converts the mic jack type input to RCA to plug in the back.
