Question new cl

hi everybody i am new to this site. I used to own a 2000 civic ex and its for sale now and i bought a 99 Acura Cl 2.3L. And Ive been surfing the web and alot of people say that the Cl's arent good for aftermarket parts and there arent alot of things you can do to it. But I typed in the engine name F23A1 and it came up as Honda Accord. I checked one of my friends 99 honda accords and it said F23A1 on the engine too. So basically 99 accord has the same engine the 99 acura cl does. So i was wondering if you can buy aftermarket parts for the 99 accord and still put it on the cl. Since they have the exact same motors except the accord is 2.2L and the Cl is 2.3L ??? ill post pictures of my cl up later.

Welcom to the AZine forums!
ohh, and uhh,

To answer some questions..

Yes, you are correct. Same engine, same parts. I myself have an 99 Accord V6 intake that fits perfectly. This goes with just about everything else engine wise.

There are 2.3 Accords hence, the F23A1.

Congrats on the pick up!

^^^ Intakes are lame mods. We need more crazy ass projects on this site. I'm no better, but that will change after winter.

Anyway, welcome to the site. Post some pics up! The n00b guide is at the top of the forum.

Read the n00b guide first, engine parts from the accord will work, suspension for our cars is a 94-97 accord
