New Acura CL 99 Owner
I just purchased a new CL, and wanted to improve its handling. Wanted the best "sport performance" I can get. Is it better to get the Eibach Proline or Sportline kit? The lesser the hassle the better. Also the wheel size, what is the best wheelsize to get that allows for the best performance but still practical driving (I go to school in DC and the streets can be quite vicious)? This would help me out tremendously. For the final question, bear with me, Is there any CAI that can be purchased for the CL 99 3.0? Thanks a lot, I'm a newbie and need some guidance.

The AEM Cold Air Intake (CAI) made for the 1998-2002 Accord V6 will fit on our 3.0CL perfectly.

Here's the product number (keep in mind that the "P" stands for polished--you can get other colors):

The decision on the Pro-Kit or Sportline springs depends on how low you want to drop your CL. The Pro-Kit will drop your car about 1.5". The Sportlines will drop it more than 1.7" and you will a camber kit.
Installation of either spring set is no different. However, I recommend getting aftermarket struts (shocks) at the same time to save on installation time/$$$. KYB AGX struts are very good.
Tell me about the DC streets!
I've bent 2 rims so far. I work at 14th and K Sts., but live out in Germantown, MD.
17" rims will handle the streets (potholes) better than 18" wheels, but 18's look better!![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

BTW: You should hook up with us at some point. There's a large DC area crew of CL owners!
