Need Some Input: Brembo Sport Drilled with Akebono Pads

I'm looking to install Brembo Drilled Rotors just in the front (to save some money) and Akebono Ceramic Pads in the Front and Rear. Has Anyone used this combo before and what do you think of keeping the Rears Stock for now. Also, Can anyone recommend a site to get these, because i was going to use tirerack however just learned that they only have the Rear Drilled Brembos. I'm having a hard time finding them now, Do they even make them for my car? I have a 98 Cl 3.0 Thanks, any input is much appreciated!

yes they do make them,. but dont use akibono pads with drilled or slotted they make TOO much noise,

i have a hookup i know in so cal i can get 300 shipped for front and rear pads and rotors cross drilled and slotted and axxis organic pads are the way to go

ive tried aem, hawk high performance pads, akibono, raybestos ceramic pads, raybestos sts pads, axxis metal masters and now i have axxis organic pads

they ar the best, all the others listed have given me noise, the worst was the akibono

go with the axxis organic pads

hit me up on aol im @ jgiguere17 and i can see if i can get a set for u front and rear

crossdrilled have a tendency to crack under heavy braking. so if you are planning on driving fast and stopping fast alot, get slotted. even if you arent planning on it theres always that asshole that pulls out in front of you and slows down(little cunts).

Isn't Brembo what the A-Spec project guys are using on the new RL? That is real sweat, why would they put something on a car like that, if it would break. Money maker I guess? peace, Love and Acura

there is NO REASON why you would need drilled or slotted or anything but blanks on a street driven car...unless it's a bling blingy show car

the ONLY thing a drilled or slotted rotor will do is prevent brake fade and help during wet braking....i highly doubt anyone has experience brake fade on the street

with stereo equipment, and lots of 60-0 stops (crappy highway traffic) it is possibe to have the brakes fade on the street.

The Drilled were solely for looks. My Rims are pretty open and you can see much of my Rotor, which is why I was interested in it, and also the fact that they were usually talked up quite a bit on this site, but not quite the case anymore. I've always heard the slotted cut into your breakpads, which is why I was originally staying away. But anways, I'm keeping it OEM, because they need to be changed and I have no time to order anything from all the sketchy websites out there. Thanks for all your inputs.
