Need opinion/help on this one.
E-brake boot and handle removal install..
I've been poking around at the ebrake boot as of late... since the failed head unit install and the prelude shifter install, and I was wondering how the hell the bolt that is holding the rubber ebrake boot on, comes off... it isn't a screw and it isn't a hex nut or hex bolt it is just some sort of clip I don't want to break it off and experiment so I was wondering if anyone else has changed the boot or the shifter itself... I am not even sure you can put on an aftermarket ebrake... or is it JUST adding an addition handle OVER the EXISTING ebrake handle.
hmm never thought of that... I just want to have my Ebrake sit lower because it is getting in the way of second gear since my shifter is much shorter now.
Do they sell an aftermarket WHOLE ebrake? or just the handles...
Well let me know if you know.
Thanks.

not a clip hmm wish I had a digi so I could run downstairs and take a pic... its like a ... the end of a screw... its brass looking but it has no X on it for phillips or _ for a flat head.
it is just flat... and the other side of it is flat too... so how the hell do you get it off? no idea I'll try to pry it off tomorrow to see what happens... I was searching on ebay and all the ebrakes are just handles, that you put ontop of the stock one and put a boot over the rest of the bottom of the ebrake... I was thinking I could swap out the WHOLE hande rubber AND metal piece that is the actual ebrake part.
