need help on wheel offset

Looking to get a set of rims sometime soon. While looking, I need to know what the offset for our car is. I have a '99 3.0. I believe the bolt pattern is 4x114.3, but does anyone know what the correct offset is. And also, I'm getting 17", what width does everyone recommend. 7 or 7.5, or can I only fit 7".

Thanks for any input.

You are correct with the Bolt pattern... I have 17x7 rims and have a 42+ offset... I would not recommend getting 17x7.5... I was steered away from that due to rubbing and disrupting your turning abilities (but i may be wrong!) You should be safe with a 42 - 45+ offset.. good luck!

I believe my offset is 42 also. I don't have a drop so I have no rubbing issues.

I'm running 18 x 7.5, 42 mm offset, with no problems (1.5" drop).
