NEED HELP!!on suspension.

hey, guys. I'm a newbie here and I have some questions on 97 CL 3.0 suspensions. guys,I did the suspension search here, but still don't get about few things.

O.k.. I got my new rims today and it's 18/7.5. When I got it, I found out that it's 45 offset. Would it fit on my car? and whaat's 'offset'?
And I ordered prokit springs and it's coming on next tuesday. Does it necessary to have a new shocks and a camber kits with 18 rims and prokit? Would The degrees gonna change after an alignment?(if change, about how many degrees and if doesn't would it make an unusual tire wear?) Does anyone have only 18's and prokits on?(no new shocks and camber kits).

Sorry, it's desn't look few questions now, but please help me and give me comments. Thanks guys.

some people need camber kits w/ the eibachs some don't. It's a hit or miss issue, you won't really know till you get the car aligned. Your stock shocks should be good for a little while, mine lasted about a year. Also about the offset, 45 should fit, although if i'm not mistaken (which i may be, i don't really remember) i think the optimal is 48

Have the alignment place check your camber before the alignment. Otherwise, if you still need a camber kit after the alignment, you will have to pay for the alignment again.

I have 18x7.5 Konig Verdicts, and they are a 45mm offset. NO rubbing with a 1.75f/1.5r drop.
